Parking brake "engaged" light won't turn off I spent the last 3 days working on the interior of my 2013 SCrew XLT 4x4. I had the negative battery terminal disconnected the whole time, with the exception of reconnecting to move the electric driver's seat to get to all the bolts once to remove the seat and again to reinstall. #1 ยท Aug 18, 2015 (Edited) I have a '13 825i, I couldn't find where this had been covered previously, but my parking brake warning is now beeping continuously. If the light turns off (or turns off and then back on), the switch is the most likely culprit and will need to be replaced.
